I’m going to the NCTE Conference in November 2026!

I’m thrilled to say that myself and illustrator Brittany Cicchese will be attending the NCTE Conference in November to receive the Orbis Pictus for Excellence in Non-Fiction for our book, JUST IN CASE: SAVING SEEDS IN THE SVALBARD GLOBAL SEED VAULT. The NCTE has graciously invited us to speak at their Book Awards luncheon and do a book signing afterwards. I’m looking forward to meeting so many teachers, educators and fellow creators! Maybe I’ll see you there. :)
